Personal Injury Lawyer Fees

Many personal injury law firms, including my law firm, charge a contingency fee for personal injury matters. A contingency fee is an attorney / law firm's fee for legal services to the client that is contingent upon the attorney / law firm recovering compensation on the client's behalf.

Under a contingency fee arrangement, if the attorney / law firm does not recover any money / compensation for a client then the client does not pay a fee to the attorney / law firm for attorney / law firm services rendered typically. If an attorney / law firm does recover money on behalf of the client then the attorney / law firm will be entitled to a percentage of that money / recovery for services rendered typically. The governing terms of the attorney / law firm contingency fee should be included in the attorney / law firm retainer agreement with the client.

Money

Attorney contingency fees make hiring a personal injury attorney / law firm affordable for everyone because a client does not need to pay any money up front. If you think you may have a personal injury case and would like to discuss the matter and any questions, including questions about our attorney / law firm's fees, please feel free to contact us.
